Dies ist ein Upgrade-Kit für ein All-Metal-Hotend für den Flashforge Finder und den Flashforge Guider 2. Das All-Metal-Hotend ermöglicht das Drucken bei viel höheren Temperaturen als mit dem ursprünglichen mit PTFE beschichteten Hotend möglich. Ein weiterer Vorteil eines All-Metal-Hotend-Designs ist eine gleichmäßigere Kontrolle der Schmelzkammer. Bei langsamer Extrusionsrate neigt die Übergangszone von festem zu geschmolzenem Kunststoff in einem mit PTFE beschichteten Hotend dazu, nach oben zu kriechen und fadenziehende Drucke zu erzeugen. Bei einem All-Metal-Design bleibt die Übergangszone immer konstant, da sie direkt am Heat Break liegt. Bei hoher Extrusionsrate hat das PTFE-Rohr nicht genügend Wärmeleitfähigkeit, um den herauskommenden Kunststoff ordnungsgemäß zu schmelzen. Das All-Metal-Hotend löst dieses Problem, da der Kunststoff über die gesamte Länge von einer thermisch leitfähigen Düse umgeben ist.
