Rugged Ridge painted steel Tube Steps feature special E-coated, .07 inch wall steel that is thick source powder coated for a tough chip resistant finish. The special E-coat undercoating provides double rust protection as it bonds to the metal creating a protective layer found nowhere else. All Rugged Ridge Tube steps feature a truly custom fit with installation brackets constructed of durable 3/17 inch powder coated steel for long life and years of flex-free use. Each Tube Step Features special UV treated no-slip step pads with 5 mounting pins. These step pads are preinstalled on top of the tube, no exposed metal to rust. Holes in brackets are not spaced for studs!

So the quality of this not great, but good enough and they look nice enough on the wall. However, the bracket holes are not spaced at 16" intervals. WTF? I'm not sure who designed this thing. The molly plugs that came with it look OK, but to play it safe I used a cobalt steel drill bit and made my own holes in the bracket. Easy enough with some wd40. My other pick with this is that the screws to anchor the shelf to the bracket are black and and very obvious... they should have supplied some kind of cap.

Cute but one is broken

I really wanted to love these but one of them came bent so I can’t use it because I’m worried it’s going to ruin the wall. It’s slanted so far down but the one that didn’t come bent works great and looks really cute
