- The Shikiori series beautifully captures the essence of Japan's four seasons. This new collection is themed "Noyama-no-Uta," which translates to Songs of the Mountains, and is inspired by the various birds that appear throughout the 72 micro-seasons of the ancient Japanese calendar, with the designs "reminiscent of the chirping of birds echoing deep in the mountains. The spring pen, Haru-tsuge-dori (Warbling is in the Air), is inspired by the Japanese bush warbler, whose beautiful trill signals the season's start, and features a vibrant translucent yellow-green barrel paired with a unique translucent white cap top to distinguish its design.
