All of the metal parts that are attached to the seat are made of type-304, 18-8 alloy stainless steel tubing with an attractive No. 4 satin finish on all of the exposed surfaces. The frame and support legs are fabricated out of sturdy 18-gauge stainless steel. When the folding seat is not in use, its support arm can be retracted to create extra space in the tub or shower. A guide bracket is included in the design of the seat to prevent it from falling out of its folded position. The seat complies fully with ADA.
