Lazily labelled "doom" by some, the band is in fact the true representation of what modern heavy metal should be, a direct descendent of the widely-appealing arena-filling superstars of the '80s and '90s without a whiff of anachronistic cosplay fantasies. Spirit Adrift's third album Divided By Darkness delivers on the promise first revealed on that aforementioned second and then advances far beyond it in every way, achieving a timeless piece for the ages. First single "Hear Her" pummels with the concise urgency and unforgettable chorus of a vital radio hit, while "Angel & Abyss" has the classic progression that leads from reflective ballad to rapturous anthemic triumph. The continued evolution of Nathan Garrett as a top vocal talent in modern heavy metal shines through amidst the masterful musicianship and huge production value engineered by Sanford Parker. Not an accurate book for a true spiritual seeker.

Don't waste your money. Once I read the 3rd eye may appear as the eye of Sauron from Lord of the rings, and all you have to do is cross your eyes and Boom there it is, I stopped wasting my time. All I received was a headace and major strain. After studying Kriya Yoga and what I've learned through the practices regarding the 3rd eye I just couldn't continue. You can read this in an hour or so. It's speaks of affirmations, mantras that's all good. If your just starting this journey I wouldnt recommend this. Look for books written by paramahansa yogananda, just my opinion and what worked miracles for me. This book was a gift or Id return. Again just my opion, if it helps you wonderful, I wouldn't pay .50 cents for this book.

I can sum up this whole book in a single paragraph
Format: Paperback
Every other page is a stock picture from wherever; while the message and practice are helpful, this should have been a pamphlet instead of a book -remember Cliffsnotes? Look at the author photo in the back of the book and consider it for a moment, what does your gut tell you? Hopefully you too can glean something from it.
