Her family hosts multiple fund-raisers at their home in Connecticut for the work that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is doing. Sharon sees her first concert after going backstage at the Apollo Theater. And her whole family attends the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. But things don't always feel easy for Sharon. She is one of the only Black children in her wealthy Connecticut neighborhood. Her older brother, Jackie Robinson Jr., is having a hard time trying to live up to his father's famous name, causing some rifts in the family. And Sharon feels isolated-struggling to find her role in the civil rights movement that is taking place across the country. My favorite!
Best face sunscreen I've ever tried and I've tried a ton.
I have very sensitive skin and I've left this sunscreen on overnight and it has not caused any issues no breakouts.
I wish it had no fragrance but it doesn't smell the worst and my skin doesn't seem to mind.
My husband refuses to wear traditional sunscreen but he loves this one because of how light it feels on your face.

Lightweight, fast application
My go-to face sunscreen now. My favorite for rushed mornings when I don’t have much time. Tried a bunch of options including dove men care, Tula, juice beauty, cerave, laroche posay, and lumin. This and Jaxon Lane Rain or Shine are my favorites. Neither makes your skin feel dry or coated in stuff. This one smells like cinnamon to me. Slight eye burn as the alcohol evaporates, but doesn’t get into my eyes or burn during the day. Pretty good discount on Amazon sometimes!

Lightweight but questionable coverage
I traditionally used the Coola face lotion but had switched to the spray for my body so I figured I’d try the face spray. It doesn’t smell as bad as a lot of the reviews say it does. It also doesn’t really smell “tropical” for that matter, but it isn’t unpleasant. It sprays evenly and doesn’t feel heavy or greasy. My only complaint is I still got a little burnt. Full disclosure: I’m super fair and have to reapply every 30-60 minutes, even without getting wet. So maybe it’s not meant for people with as pale a complexion as me. Or I have to constantly reapply, or put the lotion underneath. But otherwise I really liked it and really like Coola products.

Must have for a hot summer!
My mom saw my aunt using it and was impressed, so she bought it for herself and my sister-in-law. They both love how gentle it feels on the skin and that it’s organic and effective.

Too smelly
I love the idea of a clear spray sunscreen but my daughter says it stings her eyes and the smell gives me an instant headache. I really wanna like this but it’s a no go for me
