It is double breasted with four button closure, shoulder epaulets, belted waist, and has a removable liner of either a quilted or pile insulating material. The Trench Coat should extend to a point approximately 2 inches below the back of the knee when standing upright. Officers wear large rank insignia on the epaulets.
