The bag is a 2-fabric tote bag.

TOP (34.5 cm): natural red striped linen. Gorgeous vintage tea towel fabric from France. 100% linen. Made in France.

BOTTOM (4.2 cm): light blue denim. 100% cotton.

The tote is beautifully lined with a blue chambray fabric from a famous French designer house. 100% cotton. It has a double inside pocket with a navy blue bias. Inside pockets with bias: W 22.5 cm x H 15.5 cm.

It is purposed for everyday use. You can safely and happily use it as a shopper bag or you can carry your books... Eco-friendly, sustainable fashion. Photos are as accurate as can be. The fit is good. I'd say medium weight. It's not quite as light as some of the microfiber pullovers I like to wear playing golf, and not quite as flexible. I'm not sure I like the decorative stitching. The stitching on the shoulders and along the sides makes it look like it's on inside out. Also, the material has kind of a paper feeling to it (for want of a better description). Overall it's decent looking, not a bad fit, not a bad feel, it just doesn't 'wow' me. Unless the price is better than it is now, and already having one, I doubt I'd buy it again. Most of this is just my own opinion based on personal preference. The overall manufacturing quality seems very good. Someone else might think this is the nicest pullover they own.
