LP version. Gowanus Session II was seven years in the planning. Thollem McDonas, Nels Cline, and William Parker convened at Peter Karl Studios in Brooklyn on January 3rd, 2012 and recorded two complete albums. The first was Gowanus Session I, released by Porter Records in April of 2012. GS II was put aside to eventually complete the five-album palindromic cycle of trio albums Nels and Thollem ambitiously set out to realize. The albums in between include Radical Empathy with Michael Wimberly (Relative Pitch, 2015), Molecular Affinity with Pauline Oliveros (ROAR 042LP, 2016), and Reality and Other Imaginary Places, with Michael Wimberly (ESPDISK 5035CD/LP, 2019). William Parker debuted on ESP-Disk' in the mid-70s on Frank Lowe's classic album Black Beings (ESPDISK 3013CD) and has returned to the label this decade on the Black Beings sequel, The Loweski (ESPDISK 4066CD) and with Mat Walerian's group Toxic (ESPDISK 5011CD, 2017) and in a quartet with Ivo Perelman, Matthew Shipp, and Bobby Kapp (ESPDISK 5036CD, 2019), while being highly prolific as a leader, notably with a series of brilliant albums on AUM Fidelity. Nels Cline has spent decades changing people's ideas about the role of the electric guitar in multiple contexts, ranging from Wilco to Anthony Braxton (think about that!) as well as many projects as a leader, earning a spot on Rolling Stone's Top 100 Guitarists list. Thollem is a perpetually traveling pianist, keyboardist, composer, improviser, singer-songwriter, activist, author, and teacher. He's spent most of his adult life living on the road throughout North America and Europe. His work is ever-changing, evolving and responding to the times and his experiences, both as a soloist and in collaboration with hundreds of artists across idioms and disciplines. Thollem is known internationally as an acoustic piano player in the free jazz and post-classical worlds, as the lead vocalist for the Italian agit-punk band Tsigoti, and as an electronic keyboardist through a multitude of projects. Brite light fits umbrella well.

Great little light, lights up the table great. much better price than the local department stores. time will tell how it holds up but it seems to be built fairly well, also time will tell how long the 4 AA batteries last before they will need changed but all in all I am happy.

Very Bright, Easy to Put Up / Take Down

This light is very bright, and more than meets our needs. In addition, it has a nice easy to use latch that allows you to quickly put it on and take it off. It takes 4 batteries, which is a bit more than most, but given the brightness and number of LEDs, it seems to make sense. So far, we’re beyond thrilled to have such an affordable option that made our patio more usable at night.

Whish it was brighter

My favorite pimple patches
Style: Bundle, Size: 2 Piece Set
I've tried the competitor Mighty Patches and a couple other pimple patches. These are my favorite because they stay on the best and do the best job of healing/absorbing. The Microcrystal Spot Cover actually hurts a little when you put it on from the little spikes... but I love that because I feel like it's actually doing something! I wish they were a little more affordable.

Expensive but effective
Style: Bundle, Size: 2 Piece Set
This isn’t a miracle cure for acne, but it has proven beneficial for reducing redness and shortening healing time, in part because of how it works and also just as a barrier to prevent picking. Product does what the packaging says it will do. These dots are impressively thin. As the fluid is drawn into the patch, it creates a more pronounced white bump, but it is still thinner than typical extra thin hydrocolloid dressings.
If you’re planning to walk around and be seen while wearing acne patches, these are a great option, even if they are expensive. If you’re going to be primarily wearing patches while you sleep and are at a place in your life where you just don’t care how it looks as long as it works, shop around and cut a patch to size from a large (4”x4” or so) hydrocolloid dressing, and it will do the job just as well.
