Seven years after their triumph with quartets by Dvorák, the Pavel Haas Quartet are making a triumphant return to Dvorák's music. For the recording of the quintets, they have invited two guests: the pianist Boris Giltburg (winner of the 2013 Queen Elisabeth Competition) and Pavel Nikl, a founding member of the Pavel Haas Quartet. Dvorák composed his Second Piano Quintet at his beloved summer residence Vysoká late in the summer of 1887. The famed critic Eduard Hanslick received the work's performance in Vienna enthusiastically: "It is one of his most beautiful works. It is real Dvorák." The String Quintet, Op. 97, although younger by just six years, represents an entirely "different Dvorák". After the New World Symphony and the American Quartet, it is Dvorák's third work composed while in North America. And what did Hanslick have to say this time? "It is perhaps the simplest, most natural, and happiest music composed since the days of Haydn." The degree to which the Pavel Haas Quartet feels at home with Dvorák's music is shown by the many awards their recordings have received (Diapason d'Or, BBC Music Magazine Recording of the Month, Gramophone Award nomination). DISAPPOINTED

I've bought this 9 times since it's my Maltipoos' favorite toy! Unfortunately the one that just came in is not up to par as those previously bought. The leather was cut sloppily & the sewing sometimes ran off the leather completely or so close to edges could easily be chewed open. I can't send back because bought as a treat before leaving for trip & the fact he's already seen it ! I used sewing machine to sew areas that were close to edges - had to take out stitches to remove top squeaker to be able to sew around that area on both sides. Don't know how long this one will last even though I used quilting thread which is a bit stronger than regular thread. Hope this was just a bad one & if so, wish company's quality control would have caught this & rejected it.

Not for aggressive chewers

My GSD ate half of it within 20min before I caught her.
I don’t think it was meant for aggressive chewers so I can’t fault the product for that.
My dogs did have a few hours of fun with it playing tug and it held up well.

Emotional Support Lizard

This was my Goldendoodle puppy's first toy, and a year later, it's still his favorite. It was light enough for him to play with it at 9 pounds, but big enough that he still loves it at 40 pounds. He carries it around, slaps his brother with it, throws it and chases it, sleeps with it, etc. He enjoys his stuffies also, but he returns to this one repeatedly through the day, so I know he loves it. It's a bit discolored, but still fully intact. If you have a dog with a soft mouth who isn't prone to chewing, this toy is perfect. I've purchased extras to keep in the emergency supplies in both the house and the car.

Not for puppies or dogs who enjoy chewing toys.

NOT FOR PUPPIES OR CHEWERS! If you have a dog that is teething or enjoys chewing on toys for soothing this is not the toy to buy. My 4 month old ate the sneak head off and the inside plastic ball squeaker was exposed and fell out and my puppy swallowed it. I tried to take it away from him but it was too late .. he already swallowed it. This caused serious vomiting days later in my pup. I’m not likely to leave negative reviews unless I truly have a horrific experience and this toy provided just that. 0 stars.
