In collaboration with the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, which operates Alvin, this nonfiction picture book for kids ages 5 and up is based on Alvin’s real, remarkable expeditions.

FAMOUS SUB: Alvin was the first human-operated sub to explore the sunken Titanic, its first expedition in 1986, as well as took some of the most iconic photos of the vessel. Since, it has made more than 5,000 dives over the last five decades.
