As the architect behind many of the stylistic blueprint shifts in dance since the early heady days of acid house, Charlie May knows a thing or two about what makes a dance floor tick. One half of revered progressive house pioneers Spooky; the engineer and producer of many of Sasha's biggest singles and albums; highly respected solo producer in his own right, May has remained at the vivacious beating heart of house since the early '90s. It was in 1992 that Charlie May and production partner Duncan Forbes made their maiden voyage as Spooky. After meeting and becoming firm friends, they cut their first record for progressive imprint Guerilla Records, 'Don't Panic'. It was to prove highly influential in the futuristic new movement in dance music - progressive house - that took the rhythms of acid, and married them to aquatic depths of Detroit techno with overlays of ambient music, to create a fresh new hybrid. Heralded as figureheads of the progressive house scene, Spooky cemented this by creating their sky strafing and ambitious long-player 'Gargantuan'. One of the first dance albums of it's kind, this pinnacle album would go on to spawn a million sound-a-likes, establishing the production wizardry of Charlie May, whose tweaking and pitch-perfect ear was set to have a huge influence, both in front of and behind the scenes. 3 years later, their most critically acclaimed album - 1995's 'Found Sound' led the duo to become in high demand as remixers, reworking everyone from Sven Väth to William Orbit. Taking a brief hiatus from Spooky, Charlie May went in search of a new project. Linking up with DJ superstar Sasha, their initial production collaboration was on a soundtrack to hit Playstation game Wipeout 3, and from there, Sasha tasked May with engineering a new version of an unreleased Spooky track 'Xpander', which was to become one of Sasha's signature tracks. The acclaimed 'Airdrawndagger' album (2002), again featured May behind the boards (alongside Junkie XL), as well as the following Global Underground mix album 'Involver'. But eager to step out of the shadows, May had all this time been honing his solo chops, and with the release of the fresh 'Bug EP' on Junior Boys Own London, he began to garner props as a producer in his own right. Charlie's solo incarnation was to bear further fruit in 2006, with the Charlie May vs. Sasha cut 'Seal Clubbing', a smash record for Renaissance. Returning to the Spooky fold for a third album, 'Open', (2007), Spooky found themselves in New York City (during the album promo tour), where they settled to collaborate with Sasha on a succession of new productions for the DJ's fresh label Emfire including 'Coma' and ' ' Who Killed Sparky'. Off the back of these well-received cuts, the duo was brought in to assist with the production of 'Involv2er', the second volume in Sasha's DJ mix/remixes series. In 2009, Spooky have been hard at work on several new projects. However, this will be the year that Charlie May's solo career really kicks into gear. Having etched several new club tracks, exhibiting a heavier techno influence, Charlie's more inspired than ever, and has plenty of new plans. "I've just finished two tracks for La Tour, Pole Folder's label, and I'm feeling my way around, getting back into the solo headspace really, which is cool. I'm also doing some new remixes, something for Glenn Morrison, with Robert Babicz (aka Rob Acid) and also for Bedrock. There's so much cool techno stuff about at the moment which is really inspiring me." He's currently cutting several new tracks, both with Spooky and solo, which he'll further shape with a new record label, which has launched in 2009. And for those hanging on for an artist album, it seems you might not be waiting too much longer... "I'm focusing on singles for a bit but I'd also like to do an artist album - it's something I really want to do. That would be a big achievement. It's all guns blazing really - watch this space." Stepping into the spotlight properly with these releases, it seems that Charlie May's time.

We call him Armie! Dog loves it.
Color: Blue, Size: 14 IN
The dog loves it! Routinely carries it around squeaking all the way. The squeak is more like a quack and makes everyone giggle. It’s nice and big so a good match for our tall dog. Probably too big though for smaller dogs. Holding up well so far and that’s no mean feat given our pup’s destruction skills.

The chewability of this toy from 1-10 is a 10 all day 👍🏻
Color: Gray, Size: 8 IN
I have a Boston Terrier and he’s a serious extreme CHEWER! He loves this Hollypet Plush Dog Squeaky Toy Stuffed Armadillo! My doh gnaws on the tail, legs, the ears and the nose and all are still in tact. He’s had it for what I consider a long time. Usually he rips toys apart in the first day but this has been months! I throw this in the washing machine with his other stuffed animal toys simply because the ears, noses and tail get so stiff from chewing on them they need to be washed and they bounce right back just like new. Chewability from 1-10 is a 10 all day long! He plays with it a for a long while each time he uses it. Very active with his Armadillo and it’s so cute and the squeaker is just right, it’s not that loud screaming squeak. If he ever lost this or it got destroyed somehow? I’d buy him this all over again. Worth the money!

Fun dog toy, but not for heavy chewers
Color: Pink, Size: 14 IN
The armadillo is cute. My pittie, Sasha, was very excited to see it. She just had TPLO surgery on her left knee (she tore her ACL just before the 4th of July), and I wanted to get her something she could play with while she convalesces, that isn't a ball—she really likes to run and jump and chase the ball, but with her knee out of commission, I didn't want her to get depressed being trapped in her crate while she heals—with this toy, she was able to keep playing and not over excert herself and get more hurt. It quickly became her favorite toy; she chews it relentlessly and gets made when I take it from her (see below).
It makes a funky squeak that's not a high-pitched squeak, like I thought it would be; it's more a low-pitched, lowing sound like a baby calf. One thing I would like to point out to other purchasers about what the description says:
"Durable and Long Lasting - Made from premium soft materials, our cute plush dog toys can withstand rough play for indoor or outdoor and last for years to come. The textured surface also helps massage and soothe your dog's gums during playtime"
This is a little misleading. It's a good texture and Sasha loved to play with it, but it wasn't very durable. It might be when compared to other chew toys, but not for my baby. She tore the nose off within 20 minutes of getting it. The next morning, she ripped off an ear, and I had to pull the stuffing out of the face so she wouldn't eat it while chewing away. She doesn't seem to mind, but I sure wish it had held up a little more.
All-in-all, this was a good toy for a few days.

I wish we had found this alot sooner!

I love this cute slow feeder dog bowl!
We have a pitbull/bulldog mix and have issues with her chowing down on her food like she hasn't eaten in months! I couldn't wait to try out this new slow feeder dog bowl and am happy to say that it tremendously works to help slow down her eating habits.
The bowl includes a silicone spatula, which is useful because we use it to spread peanut butter around the edge of the bowl, and make sure to put it into the grooves and then put her food in, the peanut butter will help the food stick to it so your dog will have to spend more time licking it off which will then make them slow down eating because they'll have to work harder to get the food and peanut butter off their bowl.
Our dog loves the bowl too. We don't have as much of an issue of her begging for food either because I will put a bit of peanut butter only (if it's not time for her food) in her bowl while we're eating and she will enjoy that instead of trying to display her cuteness to us in hopes we will cave and give up our food lol.
I also love that this bowl has a strong suction cup on the bottom because otherwise, this bowl would be moving all over the place with her trying to get every last morsel out of it. The suction cup is actually pretty strong and stays put while she's eating.
Overall, this is definately worth the price and is a solid choice for anyone looking for a wonderfully designed slow feeding dog bowl to help their dogs digestion by slowing down their eating.

The slow feeder bowl is DOGGONE fantastic! Except…
Color: Purple, Color: Purple
I own a pet sitting business and get to see a lot of animal products. So when I ordered the Slow Feeder Dog Bowl in the purple color, I was super excited to try it on my own doggy. She’s a doodle and I tell her all the time, she’s the size of a horse! While I have a slow-eat bowl for my Harlee, it is an old, hard plastic bowl. Time to upgrade!
I LOVE this bowl! The feel, the size, the material, the slow feeder aspect and the color. I love it is dishwasher safe, too. While the silicone material is very flexible, I was worried it would be too flexible. But the steel rim at the top of the bowl, which is fully covered so you do not see it, ensures the bowl doesn’t collapse. At first glance, the bowl looked rather small despite being a 3 cup dish. My doggy eats one cup of kibble at each meal and there was plenty of room leftover so no worries there!
When it was time for Harlee Grace to eat her lunch, I put the bowl down and she just looked at me. Puzzled. As if to say “What’s this?” But after a few minutes, her stomach finally kicked in and it was time for her to eat. And voila - it took longer than with her old slow-eat bowl!
The only negative comment is the suction cup on the bottom of the bowl. It does not “suck” very well to my tile flooring which is rather disappointing considering the bowl is very light.
If it wasn’t for the suction cup issue, I’d give this slow feeder bowl 4 doggy thumbs up and 10 stars.
