We started selling the Original Sinewave Beacon back in 2017 which was an amazing bit of technology and followed on from their very successful Revolution and Reactor charging system.
The Sinewave Beacon2 follows on with some small updates to what was already an excellent bit of kit. At core it's a high powered front light that runs off a hub dynamo with an integrated system to allow USB charging of small devices or a battery bank.
There are other systems that offer this, but rarely is it all integrated into one unit so neatly and the machined aluminium housing ensures its ready for the roughest adventures.
The Beacon2 is also a unique light in the sense that it can run off an external battery pack. This means if you are riding slowly the light will automatically draw power from the battery brick rather than dimming. Most dynamo systems flicker or drop in visibility at low speeds, on rough roads or long climbs, and this power capacity of the Beacon means you can still have your lights running full bore.
INTEGRATED USB CHARGER
Charge your phone, GPS, or any other USB device directly from the Beacon; no need for a separate charger.
FLEXIBLE POWER OPTIONS
An external, off-the-shelf USB battery pack can be connected to maintain bright, flicker-free light even when stopped or riding slowly. Any available dynamo power replaces battery power until reaching a speed when all power is provided by the dynamo and the battery is no longer used.

Dynamo power is optimized at low-to-medium speeds, reaching 200 lumens at just 5 MPH, 500 lumens at 8 MPH, 650 lumens at 10 MPH, and 750 lumens at 13 MPH.
CHARGER PRIORITY MODE
Intelligently balances power between light and charger to optimize simultaneous use.
STANDLIGHT
A supercapacitor, charged while riding, provides about 5 minutes of standlight when stopped.

The Beacon comes with a USB-to-DC cable.
