I own several MacArthur study bibles and they never fail to impress me. He was one of the best modern scholars in the world and his wealth of knowledge shows in these study bibles. Now, these bibles are of course big and heavy, it’s not a church bible by all means. But perfect for your personal studies at home or for a Bible study group. His notes are the perfect guidance to aid you becoming richer in your understanding of the scripture and the Gospels. The pages are vibrant and the text is easy to read, including the notes, however some might need magnification. Again they are large and a bit heavy just so you know. However they contain a wealth of knowledge that few other study bibles offer. I wholeheartedly recommend this or any of the MacArthur study bibles. For yourself, for a gift, for anyone who wants to go deeper on Gods word. The price is right and well worth it.
