On the palate the wine has power and concentration which is classic for the D4V2 clone. The French oak barriques used in maturing this wine provide structure and intensity while being perfectly integrated.
This powerful yet supple pinot noir is crying out for food. Serve with beef shin risotto and wild mushrooms or a selection of washed rind cheeses with pepper lavoush.
