This course is perfect for folks who have completed our Beginner Crochet & Level 2 Crochet Classes (or comparable) and are ready to jump into making garments!  (Basic crochet skills are required.) We will be using the Cotton/Bamboo Cascade Yarn Pandamonium to make this flattering top-down raglan sweater. Choose from a variety of colors! She's drapey, lightweight, and cool to the touch. Perfect for Spring into Summer!

Skills you will learn and use in this course:

*Measuring and Gauge Swatching (It's important for this one!)

*Top-Down Circular Crochet

*Ribbing techniques

*Short rows

*Increases

*Decreases


Week 1: Introduction to the pattern and the construction of the garment,  taking measurements, and swatching. 

Week 2: Begin working into the body, Learning increases and armhole shaping

Week 3: Connecting the front and back body panels

Week 4: Mastering the crochet ribbing, adding finishing touches, final fitting, and blocking.

This is a nice compliment to other classroom instruction materials. I am teaching an advanced pathophysiology course in a nurse practitioner program. This book is very helpful for students to put together the concepts of patho with the clinical setting. Will use these for in-class group assignments. Case-studies are thorough and offer a variety of different disease processes to choose from. It certainly does not offer a case study for every possible disease or clinical scenario, but does cover most major areas and enough variety in my opinion. Should be helpful in reinforcing the clinical significance of some difficult to understand concepts. I would recommend this text to course instructors.
