The memories he created in the field with his dad, grandfather, and brother remain vivid, yet it was his undeniable passion for fishing that truly set his heart ablaze.

He honed his skills early on at The Lake of Egypt, where his grandparents owned a picturesque summer home. Each opportunity, whether during Spring Break, Easter, or extended summer visits, found Matt eagerly racing to the dock, ready to cast his line into the water. 

Though his journey with fishing included many unforgettable seasons, Matt temporarily stepped away to carve out a career in tournament paintball, immersing himself in the competitive rush of the sport.

Fast forward a decade later, and Matt experienced a rekindling of the passion that had long been dormant within him. Determined to reclaim lost time and fully engage with the sport, he made a triumphant return to fishing.
Now, Matt has confidently entered the realm of tournament bass fishing, not long after rediscovering this treasured pastime. His love for shallow water fishing for Largemouth Bass stretches across the Midwest, while he also embraces the challenge of pursuing big Smallmouth Bass on the expansive waters of Lake Michigan.
