THE SHAMAN FROM OUTER SPACE is my approach to writing a scientifically plausible spaceship adventure story based on events occurring within the vicinity of nine earth-bearing solar systems in our ÒsmallÓ neighborhood among the other solar systems this side of the milky way. The novel follows the life of a humanoid alien, pioneering his way through outer space as we learn the tale of his people and of the experiences on his journey from his planet to our own with the aid of an ancient comet-mining robotic spaceship and sub-periodic table-based cryospore. Along the journey he spends a lifetime on his home planet, another lifetime on a Plutonian outpost in his own solar system, five lifetimes on five other Earth-like planets, ending up on our planet for his last. He ultimately chooses to introduce our civilization to a global infrastructural upgrade, leading us into a second renaissance.
