Purchased directly from the jade carver during our travels to traditional jade cities near the Burma border while shopping in China. The jade carvers do not make jade for export, it is not commercial quality. It is the kind of jade Chinese people keep for themselves. Tested by refraction to assure genuine Burmese jadeite.
