It means you have to be able to control a sewing machine well , must be able to thread upper and lower threads quickly, change presser feet and also be able to sew with several thicknesses and different weights of fabric. This class is action packed from start to finish and is  for the more advanced sewist and not really suitable for the absolute beginner.  It means you have to be able to  control a sewing machine well , must be able to thread upper and lower threads quickly, change presser feet and also be able to sew with several thicknesses and different weights of fabric. The course has artistic elements.

We will be looking at several different machine embroidery techniques, their usages and also have some short practise times for each of the techniques.

Please note that this is not a class for specific embroidery machines but for  embroidery that can be done with a normal sewing machine.

You will receive a welcome pack with materials and freebies and also a back up folder for instructions and notes. You don't have to be working from the notes, they are just there as a reminder of what you've learnt on the course.  It won't  be necessary to bring a sewing machine as it's easier to teach everyone using the same or similar machines. 

You should bring some scissors, pins and needles. To make some notes you will also need pencil and notepad
