With their upcoming second album, 'Nights Out', Metronomy have sure enough crafted a future electro-pop classic. The first single to be lifted from the LP is a flawless representation of some of the freakishly danceable tracks contained therein. A wholly original mashup of electronics, 'My Heart Rate Rapid' is sheer falsetto-laden, drum-battering brilliance. It will be released on the band's new label BECAUSE on 7th Aprilst. 'Nights Out', due for release in May, is a second album that feels like a debut. It's the first Metronomy album for BECAUSE; the first to be vocal-led, with the self-effacing Joseph Mount (founder member and the band's chief songwriter) stepping up and grabbing the mic for most of the tracks; and, crucially, the first to introduce Metronomy as a three-piece band, rather than a pseudonym for Joseph's solo work. Alas, so much to say, so little page space... MUCH more on the album (which is a substantial blinder) coming soon... in the mean time, after completing a hardcore touring schedule just before Christmas - having toured more or less back-to-back with the likes of Kate Nash, CSS, Foals and Bloc Party - Metronomy are readying themselves for their first full headline tour in a little while. In the past year, the band's live show has come to be something of a speciality, asserting them as a serious, seriously good, live band - with the helping hand of their occasional dance troupe and now trademark light show, and with an arsenal of electro-pop belters now at their fingertips, Metronomy's game has most certainly been upped.

I love this mixer

I love this mixer. I don't know how we got along before we had this. We have had this small hand mixer for 2 years, using it several times every day, day after day and it finally stopped working and I am ordering another one right now. I can't live without it. I make our bullet coffee with it. My wife makes her morning shake with it. I could go on and on but I need to get another one ordered right now.

The first unit I got, the charging LED was not working so I don't know if the unit is charged. I returned the unit back to Amazon and got a brand new unit the next day. Great job, Amazon! The 2nd unit has been perform perfectly. I use it to whisk eggs in the morning to make French toasts, waffles, pancakes. All comes out perfect! Also, the mike froth for my morning latte and cappuccino. Don't under estimate this small unit, the spin is fast for high!!!
I saw some negative review on the durability of the unit. I hope this is not the case. I'll update if anything changes. As for now, highly recommended!!!

Powerful!

This thing is powerful and works great! I was hesitant about some of the negative reviews, but this is worth it so far. I use it every day and haven't charged it in the week that I've had it. Some people complained about turning it off.... It's not that hard. Just hold the button down for a second or two and it shuts off, no fuss. If you tap/press the button you'll cycle through the next speed and then off. I only use the first speed to make my protein shake and matcha. I feel like the high speed would just whip everything to pure foam! I'm hoping this lasts me a long time.
