This pliable sealing surface conforms to even the most uneven filter housing, making for a perfect filter fit and sealing surface every time. This design eliminates the use of gaskets or sealants and always goes back to its original form. All aFe POWER flat panel performance air filters are constructed with a full 360-degree polyurethane frame. Amazing concept

They are everything I wanted for the aesthetic I was going for. They are a fairly simple install and they come with pretty good instructions. However, I don't know if it was my rush to get them up or if it was a design flaw but they are not very sturdy in the wall. I had seen a few reviews that said that they were a bit loose and I wasn't expecting heavy objects on it but I did end up needing to put support bars underneath them just because they kept sinking downward. Had I known that would have been the case I would have installed them differently and avoided putting holes in my wall at all but they're up now and it is what it is.

Can I say these are the perfect shelves for home decor? Yes I can. I love these shelves. They gave my walls some well needed decor upgrade. Only downside it that the cords are not removeable.
