The name seemed appropriate for the collections. All the contributors had an idea of the theme although interpreted it in their own individual ways.
As well as work that appeared in the published anthologies. Pages have been included that were to have gone into later, never completed, issues and also some older work which informed what came later.
The ZOND anthologies were a testing ground for lots of Ideas and themes and as such make an interesting time piece.
