Editions Mego present the latest addition to the compelling discography of Thomas Brinkmann. Throughout his career Brinkmann has focused on the human operating amongst industry alongside rhythms that manifest as a result of technological advancement. With this new release Brinkmann makes a U-turn, looking back to the early industrial age. Comprised of recordings of various looms, Raupenbahn investigates the sonic properties and consequences of the first automatic loom as constructed by Jacques de Vaucanson in 1745. Thomas Brinkmann once again adheres to his tendency for clarity and simplicity whilst further investigating not only the sound and rhythms of the machines (looms) but also what role they serve in society and what consequences they have on the environment. Raupenbahn presents 21 tracks in total, 11 featured on the vinyl, the remaining ten as digital bonus tracks. The majority of recordings were undertaken by Brinkmann in 2017 with a Neumann KM 184 stereo set. Additional recordings were sourced with permission from Monika Widzicka recs. From 2014 Central Museum of Textiles Łódź, Poland. Each piece presents a diversity of material which borders on the breathtaking and beautiful in richness and complexity. The various looms unravel rhythms and patterns unexpected from machines of the early industrial age. The loom holds a significant role in shaping our world being the catalyst for Charles Babbage's Analytical Engine which, alongside the subsequent work of Byron's daughter Ada Lovelace, paved the way for modern computing. There is a linage of the loom that fits succinctly in Brinkmann's overall argument. Here we encounter a parallel between machine driven economies and the music that rose from such places, consider the Sheffield steel industries, the Manchester weaving industry or the Rhineland/Düsseldorf loom and machine industry. Is it a coincidence that the practice of such machines in the environment gave rise to today's predilection for electronic dance music, in pop, soundtracks, etc. Raupenbahn features no treatment or processing and explicitly displays varying tempo and timbres which ascertain a wide range of acoustic structures. The artwork features Ingrid Wiener, Rosemarie Trockel, and Alexandra Bircken, three different generations who would with ideas of fabric weaving, looming, and the like. This exceptional release works on a number of levels alongside it's striking sonic palette. The digital bonus tracks (and the LP tracks) can be redeemed with download card that comes with the LP.

Great Mouse
I normally use the Logitech M325c. I've gone through dozens over the years. It works very well, but they seem to wear out fast; the wheel scroll is what fails. I decided to give the Amazon Basics a try. So far, it looks, feels, and functions the same as the Ltech; it doesn't have the fun colors, but if it holds up longer than a year, it's a fair tradeoff. I will revise this review if things change in the future, but as of now, I would recommend the Amazon Basics and will replace the other Ltech's when the time comes.

Insanely good gaming mouse!
This mouse exceeded my expectations in every way. The first thing I noticed was how ridiculously light it feels — it glides so smoothly that aiming in FPS games instantly felt faster and more precise. The wireless connection is flawless with zero lag, and the clicks feel super satisfying and responsive.
Battery life has been excellent, USB-C charging is convenient, and the white design looks incredibly clean on my setup. I also love how customizable everything is without feeling overly complicated. Logitech absolutely nailed the balance between performance, comfort, and aesthetics with this one. Easily one of the best gaming mice I’ve used.

huge difference during long gaming sessions
The Logitech PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE is easily one of the best gaming mice I’ve used. The first thing you notice is how incredibly lightweight it is—it glides effortlessly, which makes a huge difference during long gaming sessions. The responsiveness is top-tier, and the Lightspeed wireless connection feels just as fast and reliable as a wired mouse.
The build quality is excellent, with a clean, minimalist design that looks great on any setup. The clicks feel crisp and precise, and the customizable haptics add a nice touch for those who want to fine-tune their experience. Battery life is also impressive, and the USB-C charging is a welcome upgrade.

Best haptic-inductive trigger wireless lightspeed gaming mouse ever!
I'm so impressed that click latency and feedback feels much faster than traditional mechanical switches. Yes, you can tweak it via Logitech G Hub to adjust rapid trigger, haptic click, and trigger latency. As soon as I set to 0 for haptic click, it feels noticeably faster and I can CPS (Clicks Per Second) much faster nowadays, especially in Counter-Strike 2, and other competitive multiplayer game. In addition, mouse weight is 61g which still feels light, not hefty. Durability and material feels high-quality, not too mush, no rattles, no problem whatsoever. However, it comes to pricing, yes it is unfortunately expensive at a price of $179.99 USD, but hey, you pay what you get for value and performance. All in all, this is such a huge game changer and this is definitely going to change the meta when it comes to gaming tournament e-sport!
P.S. This mouse also supports Powerplay which you will need the Powerplay mat as well as the Powerplay coin in order to charge your mouse indefinitely. It also supports 8Khz polling rate and very high dpi resolution 44k+. I also wish Logitech would release G Pro X2 Superstrike 2C (smaller & compact version) in order to keep the weight down as much as possible (possibly 51g or less).

Lightweight, super fast and great for gaming
I’ve been using this mouse for a while now and honestly I’m really impressed. It’s super lightweight and feels very comfortable in hand, even during long gaming sessions. The response time is excellent — everything feels smooth and precise, especially in FPS games.
Battery life is also really good, I don’t have to charge it often which is a big plus. The wireless connection is stable with no lag at all.
The only small thing is that it might feel a bit too light if you prefer heavier mice, but for me it’s perfect.
Overall, definitely worth it if you’re looking for a high-performance wireless gaming mouse.
