Meditative Ambient Blues. Japanese Steelpan player and composer Yoshio Machida's 11th solo album. 6 pieces by only metal slit drum, with theme "tenderness". Like his past solo Steelpan albums Naada (2006) and Steelpan Improvisation Series [i] and [ro] (2012, this album is pursued possibility of music by metal sound that has rich overtones. Machida plays this metal slit drum with Steelpan or Galmelan instruments for solo concert and free improvisation with some musicians. Recently he plays this instrument for his new improvised performing project "Sound is Body, Body is Sound" with a dancer. This metal slit drum is made from a part of small gas tank in Japan. Scale C / 2 octaves. This music is influenced from Kora music of Mali, Valiha music of Madagascar, Shona's Mbira music of Zimbabwe, Gamelan of Bali/Java, Kulintang music of Philippines and traditional music of Myanmar. Slow swing rhythm, minimal, like Gamelan, sweet tones like Kalimba, it can be called meditative ambient "blues".

Nice shoes, good price.

I ended up sending these direct to my kid at sleepaway camp and thankfully they fit well and have stood up well despite her rugged use of them. Most impt to me, they have RUBBER soles, not that cheap styrafoam mascarading as a sneaker sole.

We love the Saucony brand for quality, but my child felt the Saucony boys Velocer a/C (Little Kid/Big Kid) ran large. She is a true 2, but the 2s fit too long in the length and width so we returned.

Are holding up great, but needed the wide
I bought these shoes for my daughter to wear to kindergarten. They wear navy uniforms and she loves pink so I thought these were perfect. I ordered her size according to the size chart (but didn’t check width because she’s never needed wide shoes in the past). The normal width were too tight on her toes but the length was right. I returned them for the wide and they are perfect. 2 months into school they still look brand new. Just be sure to check both length and width. I printed a measuring guide from Saucony’s website.
