These sandstone arches mimic the grand arches of Utah’s national parks. They are made of Kanab Goldenstone sandstone, a lighter-colored sandstone sourced from an area near Kanab, just across the Arizona border. Sandstone is a sedimentary rock composed of sand compacted and cemented together through geological processes, giving it a grainy texture. Sandstone with distinct layering like this can be called ‘picture stone’ because the layers resemble a southwestern landscape. It is often cut into flat slabs to best show the pattern, and nicer pieces are even framed for display.

The coloration of the sandstone is caused by iron, which also forms thick chocolate-brown bands criss-crossing the material. These arches are originally created by drilling a hole through a chunk of sandstone and sandblasting the material into a smoothed arch. The iron bands are harder than the surrounding sandstone and create ridges as the softer material is more quickly sandblasted away—just like the material would erode in nature.

All pieces have a flat bottom for display. Sandstone arches make a nice decorative accent piece around the home or in a desert terrarium. I put a few pieces I broke into my tanks and the isopods have enjoyed climbing them. Just be aware sandstone is a porous rock that will soak up water over time if used in wetter terrariums. This doesn’t seem to cause any issues other than some discoloration and spotty “growth” on the rock over time. Place it on a surface that will stay dry to avoid this.

These legs were used on a 26”x72” DIY quilting ironing table. The Mdjwjj Industrial Pipe Counter Bar Height Table Leg, Metal Table Legs, Iron Base are sturdy & made of real metal, nothing cheap about this product. Legs were easy to install. Highly recommend

Do it yourself
Size: 38"Height × 14" Wide
I purchased a similar set to custom make a dining room table out of butcher block, and it turned out perfect. So with the left over butcher block I purchased these legs and made the perfect kitchen island to match. It is very sturdy and a great price. Everyone wants to know where I purchased it from. I also put a piece of the butcher block across the lower bars and made a lower shelf. Love love love this.

Plan your project right & these will look great!
Size: 38"Height × 14" Wide
These are great legs for a table. They are sturdy and go together nicely. The painted finish is well done, meaning it doesn't scratch or peel or come off easily. Also the way things were packaged was considerate of the weight and possibility of damage during shipment. There were even extra attachment screws included which was helpful since I lost one under the dishwasher. When considering what legs to purchase for your particular table, the height, dimensions, and weight of the top all need to be factored in. I used these bar height legs under a very heavy, 7' long X 2' wide top. Common physics dictates that there will be lateral movement between the 2 "H" shaped leg sets. There HAS to be support between the 2 H leg sets to prevent that lateral movement. So these alone will not support a long table very well, because physics. This is not in any way the fault of this product. Be aware that there is more to the stability equation and be prepared to add cross bracing to your project.
