اس کتاب میں پاکستان کے علاقے کی تاریخ مختصر اور آسان زبان میں بیان کی گئی ہے تا کہ ہر شعبہ ہائے زندگی سے تعلق رکھنے والا پاکستانی اپنی تاریخ سے بنیادی واقفیت حاصل کر سکے۔ تاریخ کے صرف ان ادوار اور ان زاویوں پر بات کی گئی ہے جن پر تدریسی کتب عام طور پر خاموش رہتی ہیں۔

محمود غزنوی نے ملتان کو فتح کر کے اسماعیلی مسلمانوں کا ہزاروں کی تعداد میں نہ صرف قتل عام کیا بلکہ بے شمار مسجدوں کو بھی نیست و نابود کر دیا۔

احمد شاہ ابدالی نے ہندوستان پر کل دس حملے کئے اور اتنی لوٹ مار کی کہ پنجاب میں محارہ بن گیا " کھادا پیتا لا ہے دا، باقی احمد شا ہے دا ( جو کچھ کھا لو گے اور پہن لو گے وہی ملے گا، باقی سب احمد شاہ لوٹ کر لے جائے گا)۔

قائد اعظم کے حلف کے الفاظ یہ تھے: ” میں، محمد علی جناح ، حلف اٹھاتا ہوں کہ گورنر جنرل پاکستان کی حیثیت سے آئین پاکستان کی پاسداری کروں گا اور شہنشاہ جارج ششم کا وفادار رہوں گا۔

As a mom of a very active toddler, finding a diaper that actually holds up overnight has been a journey. We recently switched to the Huggies Size 7 Overnites, and overall, I’m really glad we did. First, the biggest win: way fewer blowouts. Before this, we were dealing with middle-of-the-night sheet changes more often than I’d like to admit.
