To create a seal between the AEM heatshield/airbox and engine cover a rubber edge trim is included. The air intake system is backed by AEM's Lifetime Limited Warranty. Some AEM air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards, while others are 50 state legal. Must have and should be standard.

Not sure why these aren't standard, but a must have. Fits like factory and bolts on rock solid. Easy install and took me about 10 mins. Color matches trim perfectly. Just wish I could've swapped the speaker cover with the JBL marked cover, but the factory uses push tabs and not screws. I didn't want create any loose parts that would vibrate later. For the cost, it isn't a bad accessory. Worth it in my opinion.

DIDN'T FIT 4RUNNER 2025+ Everything looked Great and seemed as quality as factory, except bolt holes were off at least 1/2 inch ... it was so sad, was really looking forward to getting driver grab handle.
