CT Race Worx - Maverick X3 Chromoly Front Diff TrayThis is our 4130 front diff tray for the X3 that is made completely from chromoly. We used our scan data of the stock frame and placed the diff exactly where it is stock using multiple layers of chromoly. This is our 4130 front diff tray for the X3 that is made completely from chromoly. The intent of this piece is to either repair a damaged frame or to use on a fresh built for increased strength. We used our scan data of the stock frame and placed the diff exactly where it is stock using multiple layers of chromoly. We also tie in the front pivot point of the lower control arms to tie everything together. The (2) "wings" on the back of of the tray are there to wrap around the tubes, this does require heat and a hammer to do this, they could be trimmed with a cut off wheel if need be. The rivet holes in the bottom of the frame line up exactly where the plate goes.

This does require a large amount of cutting and welding for this to work. We recommend tig welding as much of this in a possible, if you're repairing a frame its likely that mig welding is the better option, if you're working on a fresh build and a bare frame we suggest tig welding. If repairing a frame, wire wheel as much paint off as possible and use a grinder as a last resort, the factory frame is already thin enough.
