Available in multiple styles – Single/Double Weave – Slingco’s Double Eye Non-Metallic Aramid Cable Grips are the perfect choice for use in fibre optic cable installation operations, offshore applications, and many projects across the utilities industry.

 

Highly suitable for pulling both single and multi-cable bundles, these cable grips are manufactured from high-grade, high-strength, non-metallic aramid fibre, finished with a protective UV coating. Even better, courtesy of the non-metallic materials, these grips are extremely easy to work with even if you don’t have any safety gloves to hand.

 

Designed with an improved weight-to-break ratio, break load limits range from 1.1Tonne right through to 7.1Tonnes, offering similar breaking loads to steel grips. Super lightweight and easy to handle, they are strong enough to cater for the rigors of some of the harshest environments including exposure to salt walt, pollutants and underground environments.

 

Please note: Although these cable grips are extremely strong, we must advise that non-metallic aramid grips are not as abrasion-resistant as metal grips. These are a non-metallic, non-conductive alternative to steel grips.

The glass top feels sturdy and gives it a clean sharp look on the desk. The cedar lining smells amazing right out the box and really helps hold the humidity steady. I got the large one and it easily fits a good mix of sizes. Gave this as a gift to my uncle and he was honestly blown away by the quality. The value for the quality of this box is phenomenal. I love the digital monitor that gives you the humidity percentage, and having a "refillable" part that you use to humidify was such a big plus for me. Super easy to maintain, and super easy to glance at and make sure it is at the correct humidity. I love not having to wonder if I need to add more humidity and fear of ruining my collection! Season Well and It Still Might Not Work
Humidor was seasoned, per the instructions (and more). Yet it will not keep humidity above 60%. It appears the seal/gap is to wide because of the hinge placement. They need to be recessed a bit to create a tighter seal. I have 15 cigars in this box, plus a Boveda 69% 60gram package. Max humidity is 60%.

We had another humidor that didn’t have a humidity gauge. Found out that even in high humidity Houston we were not storing our cigars at a high enough humidity. This is a very well-made, sturdy humidor. (Our old one pales in comparison and I thought it was nice!) You open it up and the smell often the wood is just lovely. We often buy Cubans while abroad, and go a long time in between using them. We are not going to take a chance with them now. We will only use this. Perfect for a gift for your cigar aficionado. I think this box is a good value for the money and you will preserve your cigars much better with a digital readout.
