Two famous orchestral works that were written in the 20th century but breathe the spirit of nineteenth-century music can be heard on this new album from BR-KLASSIK: the ballet music "Carmen Suite", based on the famous melodies from George Bizet's eponymous opera and masterfully arranged and adapted by the composer Rodion Shchedrin in 1968, and Ottorino Respighi's well-known symphonic poem "Pini di Roma" (The Pines of Rome), written in 1924. The name of the Russian composer Rodion Shchedrin is primarily associated in the West with his "Carmen Suite", which has been highly popular ever since it's first performance. The thirteen movements of this ballet music are based on Bizet's opera "Carmen", and carefully adapted to the musical language of the present day. After Shchedrin's wife Maya Plisetskaya, long-time prima ballerina of the Bolshoi Theatre, had vainly asked both Shostakovich and Khachaturian to compose a "Carmen" ballet especially for her, her husband decided to do so instead - a decision that was rewarded with international success. The rousing music in Shchedrin's interpretation sounds very familiar, yet in many ways, entirely new! The Italian composer Ottorino Respighi is especially admired for his masterly instrumentation. The symphonic poems in his "Roman Trilogy", which deal with the fountains, pine trees and festivals of his adopted home city of Rome, made his name immortal. In his "Pines of Rome" he describes four locations in the Eternal City, each with a different historical background. Children play under the pines in the gardens of the Villa Borghese; a solemn hymn can be heard from inside an ancient catacomb; in the pines on Rome's Janiculum Hill we hear a nightingale singing; and finally, in the morning mists on the Appian Way, we hear a consul leading his army in triumph up the Capitoline Hill.

Great for keeping family passports organized while traveling
I bought this for our family’s recent trip to Europe after struggling on a previous trip to keep track of everyone’s passports. Last year I was constantly worried about losing one or forgetting where I put them, so having everything in one place made a huge difference this time. This holder fit all four passports perfectly and still had room for cards and even a spot where I could clip my keys inside.
It ended up being one of those things I used constantly throughout the trip at airports, hotels, train stations, and checkpoints. As long as I had the case with me, I felt confident all four passports were where they needed to be. The material feels durable enough for travel, and the zipper worked smoothly the whole trip. The black color also looks clean and professional without standing out too much.
Pros:
Holds four passports comfortably
Helped keep travel documents organized
Durable feel and smooth zipper
Extra storage for cards, cash, or keys
Lightweight enough for travel
Gave me peace of mind during a busy international trip
Cons:
Slightly bulkier than necessary for minimalist travel
Could be slimmer for people who only want passport storage without extra pockets

Great passport holder
I really like this family passport holder. This is the second one I buy since we travel with our kids internationally at least once a year.
It’s a good way to keep document organized and on the ready.
I like that it has space for four passport books, plus ID’s and cards. It also has a pen holder. And a couple zippered pockets.
We also travel with our dogs and this case kept all our family’s and pet’s documents in one convenient place.
It’s also easy to use. The zipper is easy to open and close. And I like that the strap is not on the zipper. The last holder I got has the strap on the zipper and when you opened it things could fall off if you weren’t super careful.
I like that little pocket on the front. It’s convenient to keep boarding passes handy.
The quality is great too. I didn’t even read about it being fire proof but that just makes it nicer.
And it’s pretty easy to keep clean because the material can be just wiped down and doesn’t stain easily.
We just keep or passports there and put them on our document area at home. So they’re ready to go whenever we need.
Overall a great product small families traveling.

Great passport storage for a family of 4!
This passport travel wristlet was perfect of or family of 4 to use while traveling. It was large enough to keep all of of our passports inside and also travel documents. I love that the material is fire resistant, but the material is slightly tacky b/c of that. Not a big deal for me, but something worth noting. I don't mind the material b/c it gives me peace of mind when storing my passports inside that if there is a fire, our passports will be protected. Overall, I think this is a great option to safely store and travel with your passports!
