Designed for demanding remote surveillance, the AXIS Q1951-E Network Camera delivers reliable thermal imaging in a compact, weatherproof package. This TAA-compliant model uses a 640 x 480 thermal sensor to reveal heat signatures with precision, enabling early detection and verification of intrusions in darkness, fog, or challenging weather conditions. With a fixed lens and a high frame rate of 30 fps, the Q1951-E provides smooth, continuous monitoring across outdoor perimeters, critical facilities, and large sites. Flexible mounting options—supporting wall and ceiling installations—make it easy to deploy in a wide range of environments, from critical infrastructure to remote campuses, while its rugged design stands up to outdoor conditions. Whether used as a standalone device or integrated into a broader security system, this camera delivers actionable thermal intelligence with minimal maintenance and strong long-term value.

  • Thermal imaging excellence: The AXIS Q1951-E captures heat signatures with a 640 x 480 resolution, delivering detailed thermal imagery that excels in total darkness, thru smoke, fog, or challenging lighting. This enables faster, more reliable detection of people, vehicles, or equipment based on heat contrasts, reducing false alarms tied to lighting changes or reflective surfaces. The thermal sensor provides consistent performance across wide temperature ranges, making it ideal for perimeter protection, large outdoor sites, and remote facilities where conventional visible-light cameras struggle.
  • Fixed lens for consistent coverage: Featuring a fixed lens configuration, the Q1951-E delivers predictable field of view and depth of focus, minimizing maintenance while ensuring reliable scene coverage over time. The fixed-optics design reduces drift and recalibration needs, allowing security teams to rely on stable imaging without frequent lens adjustments. This makes it an excellent choice for long-term monitoring corridors, fences, and entry points where repeated focus changes are undesirable.
  • High-frame-rate performance: With up to 30 frames per second, this thermal network camera provides smooth, fluid thermal video ideal for monitoring motion across wide outdoor areas. The 30 fps capability supports timely detection of moving subjects and enables accurate motion analysis, even in fast-transiting scenarios such as vehicles moving at distance. This frame rate helps security operators verify incidents quickly and reduce investigation time across large campuses, industrial sites, and critical infrastructure corridors.
  • Versatile mounting and rugged protection: The AXIS Q1951-E is designed for flexible placement with wall and ceiling mount options, enabling optimal positioning to maximize thermal coverage while staying unobtrusive. The housing is engineered for outdoor deployment and high-humidity environments, offering reliable protection against weather and moisture. Its waterproof-style design and robust construction ensure dependable operation in challenging outdoor conditions, making it suitable for perimeter patrols, facility perimeters, and remote monitoring stations.
  • TA A compliance and deployment readiness: As a TAA-compliant camera, the AXIS Q1951-E aligns with procurement standards for government, military, and public-sector projects in supported regions. This compliance, combined with ease of integration into existing VMS ecosystems, makes it an attractive choice for organizations seeking compliant, scalable thermal surveillance. The camera’s compatibility with standard network practices simplifies installation, management, and long-term maintenance while delivering trusted performance in demanding deployments.

how to install AXIS Q1951-E Network Camera

  • Plan your deployment with thermal coverage in mind: select a mounting location that provides the clearest line of sight for heat signatures while minimizing proximity to heat sources that could affect readings.
  • Choose a compatible wall or ceiling mount for the AXIS Q1951-E and secure the mounting bracket to a structurally sound surface. Use level alignment to ensure the camera sits squarely for optimal field coverage.
  • Run a Power over Ethernet (PoE) connection to simplify power delivery and data transport. Ensure the Ethernet cable is rated for outdoor use if installed in exterior environments, and seal any penetrations against moisture ingress.
  • Install the camera and perform an initial alignment: verify positioning, confirm the camera’s field of view, and check that the thermal image is clear and free of obstructions. Tighten all fasteners and verify the unit remains stable in wind or vibration conditions.
  • Configure the network and safety settings within your security platform: assign a fixed IP address or reserve one via DHCP, enable necessary thermal imaging profiles, and integrate with your video management system (VMS) or SCADA interface for centralized monitoring and recording.

so good
Format: Kindle
I’ve read any number of fairy tale retellings and I believe this one is top ten. The characters are likeable but complex enough to be interesting; the plot stands alone but leads you to the next book. The dialogue is also quite clever.

Nice standalone

3.5 stars. Reminds me of the old school romances of the 80s and 90s. Boy meets girl. They fight. They fall in love. Boy screws up. Girl flees. They kiss and make up. One thing that I absolutely adore about Loretta Marshall's worlds is just how inventive she is with the magic. Magic via flowers? How does her brain think of these things?

OUTSTANDING
Format: Kindle
This was very, very good. The world is vast and characters are complex. There is a good plot with a whole lot going on. This is well written. Good twists and turns and some heart breaking moments. You will love these characters, they have heart and loyalty. I am hoping that there will be several more books. We've yet to see anything from the Sea Court but only a mention of them here and there. The Wood Court was given a quick couple of scenes, and only as far as some warriors, we've yet to enter their court and the Shadow Court, I'm not sure if they will be a force for good or bad, but they definitely will play a much bigger role moving forward. This is primarily the Ice and Air Courts. Told in multiple views, which I loved, it gives you a chance to see things from different eyes. There's alot of political maneuvering and deception. I loved it and will pick up the next book as it becomes available. If you like The Fae and the courts, you should love this. I think the author has mucn in store for us.

Definitely worth the read!
Format: Kindle
After taking a deep breath and taking in that wicked twist of an ending, I have finally composed myself. My first thought when I started this book was that I love Reyna's character. I was intrigued by her connection with her familiar and the Ruin that is plaguing her land. It came as no surprise that she took her sister's place in an attempt to protect her. When they reach the Air Court everything slows down. This is where it was iffy for me. First of all, I like multiple POV's in books however 7 is a bit much. It starts to interrupt the story line. I felt like I was finally making progress connecting with one character, then it was switched to another person. I felt they all had necessary or pertinent information but not necessarily were they all POV worthy. The only other thing that annoyed me was that Reyna constantly was " trapped." She would rush off without thinking, only to need rescuing. She is brilliant in a fight, but she really doesn't think through anything. Lorcan is amazing. I know he might be on the "bad" list, but his background is so interesting. Eislyn(Reyna's sister) is really so sweet, but calculating. I enjoyed her and Thane's dialogue. The author did an amazing job with the imagery in this book. Everything was so detailed it was easy to fall into the scene. I love unexpected twists and while part of the ending I expected, I wasn't expecting how it took place. All in all, I found it very entertaining and I am very invested in continuing this series. Favorite quotes: "The truth may be twisted but never false." "Who was she if she was not the enemy of the Air Court? What was her purpose of she no longer has that?" "In a war-torn land, love was always a lie."

Great Read!!! Great story!!!
Format: Kindle
The series is long, but Ms. Wolfhart does a fantastic job of weaving this tale while bringing so much to the characters. Surprises and plot twists along the way to keep you intrigued. There is some graphic sex, but is no way the focal point. Grammar was excellent (a rare find with a lot of self publishers) with only a few noted errors. I rarely give 4 stars, let alone 5.
