Antique Stick Pin Conversion Ring | 14k Owl on 10k Gold BandOwls have long associations with wisdom and academic achievement. The Greek goddess of wisdom, Athene, was often depicted with an owl, as was her Roman counterpart Minerva. This spectacular ring was originally part of an antique Victorian stick pin (circa 1870 1900). We removed the pin stem and welded the owl onto a split 10k gold band. The owl is very finely rendered in 14k gold and features two ruby cabochon eyes. The owl measures 0. 65 inches

This spectacular ring was originally part of an antique Victorian stick pin (circa 1870-1900). We removed the pin stem and welded the owl onto a split 10k gold band. The owl is very finely rendered in 14k gold and features two ruby cabochon eyes.
The owl measures 0.65 inches (16mm) tall by 0.5 inches (13mm) wide and the condition is excellent.
This ring is currently a size 8.75, but can be re-sized free of charge.
