After Christmas, we come and take your tree away. You choose a collection date. We arrive, remove the tree, and that is that.

The service covers trees up to 12ft. Two price bands: £45 for trees up to 8ft, £75 for trees over 8ft and up to 12ft. Collection dates run from late December through to early January.

What happens to the tree

Real Christmas trees are 100% recyclable. After we collect, the tree goes to be chipped and composted. It does not go to landfill.

Chipped trees become mulch and compost used on gardens, parks, and green spaces. Composting a real Christmas tree has a fraction of the environmental impact of sending one to landfill.

Good Elf has supplied and collected real trees since 2004. Responsible disposal is part of what we do.

Frequently asked

Do I need to have a Good Elf tree for you to collect it?

No. We collect any real Christmas tree, regardless of where you bought it. The only requirement is that it fits the size band you select at checkout.

Do I need to be home on collection day?

You do not need to be in, but the tree must be accessible. Leave it outside or in a communal hallway if you will not be home.

Do I need to remove decorations before collection?

Yes. Remove all decorations, tinsel, and lights before we arrive. We collect the tree only.

What if my tree is in a pot?

We collect pot-grown and potted trees as well as cut trees. The tree must be able to be carried out to the street by one person. If it is very large or heavy, contact us before booking.
