The woolly rhinoceros (Coelodonta antiquitatis) is an extinct species of rhinoceros that inhabited northern Eurasia during the Pleistocene epoch. The woolly rhinoceros was a member of the Pleistocene megafauna. The woolly rhinoceros was covered with long, thick hair that allowed it to survive in the extremely cold, harsh mammoth steppe. It had a massive hump reaching from its shoulder and fed mainly on herbaceous plants that grew in the steppe. Mummified carcasses preserved in permafrost and many bone remains of woolly rhinoceroses have been found. Images of woolly rhinoceroses are found among cave paintings in Europe and Asia. The range of the woolly rhinoceros contracted towards Siberia beginning around 17,000 years ago, with the youngest known records being around 14,000 years old in northeast Siberia, coinciding with the Bølling–Allerød warming, which likely disrupted its habitat, with environmental DNA records possibly extending the range of the species around 9,800 years ago. Its closest living relative is the Sumatran rhinoceros (Dicerorhinus sumatrensis).

this book is kinda mediocre. the first story was amazing. great art, great story, and great dialogue. very cool perspective on what seems like the covenants first encounter with the flood. the dialogue-less one about sgt johnson surviving in a flood infested area was pretty good too. the armor testing story wasn’t bad but kinda felt like a waste of time. and the last one had such terrible art i couldn’t even read it. but i also enjoyed reading the “behind the scenes” author’s notes before and after each story.

So bad it’s hard to believe

I bought this to see the story about the half-jaw white elite, one of my favorite characters. In that regard it was fantastic. That story and its art are epic. The next two stories were HORRENDOUS. The middle two stories truly look like they were drawn by talented 8th graders. The dialogue is cringe for the second story and the third story is wordless. There are also resolution issues throughout. Pictures don’t really get across just how UGLY the middle two stories are. The fourth and last story looks like an actual professional artist did it, but I’m too traumatized to try to read it. The foreword is insufferable and irrelevant and the end of the book is filled with fan art that is not quite charming in a book I paid money for.

Worth the Money

Love this book and I’m happy I bought it new. It came in perfect condition. It’s so nicely put together with high quality images of the main game, even the three DLC games. I like reading the huge list of dialog that the characters have. I learned things about the game I never knew. Ex,the ice goddess and the fire god having a relationship. It even goes into detail about Comrades. The art from the competition Illustrations. It’s my favorite page. I hope other people learn a few things from it like I did. It’s great for a collector and such a pretty book. Worth it! Buy it. Would buy this again!

I bought this book after completing the game and honestly, it is so informative on stuff that weren't mentioned in the game. I loved learning more about the characters and their backstory and all the concept art.
