The Super-Pad is also designed for portability, offering a lightweight design which is easy to transport and setup on any drums. When used on a tom, the Super-Pad maintains the pitch and articulation of the drum whilst dampening the volume level. When used on a snare, the Super-Pad allows drummers to utilise the snare wires and integrate buzz, drag, and ghost strokes into their playing, as they would with any normal snare setup.
