Features

  • Excellent Stiffness & Strength - Featuring a tensile modulus up to 8.4 GPA on the XY axis and 3.7 GPA on the Z axis, Fiberon™ PA6-CF20 is well suited for high performance industrial and engineering applications. Fiberon™ PA6-CF20 combines extreme stiffness and best-in-class tensile strength. Fiberon™ PA6-CF20 is an excellent choice for dry applications[1] requiring stiffness and durability such as automotive brackets, jigs, ESD safe fixtures, aerospace, prosthetics and engineering.
  • Excellent Heat Resistance - Featuring a high heat resistance up to 215°C after annealing[2], Fiberon™ PA6-CF20 offers excellent heat resistance for demanding applications where heat and stress are critical design factors. This material lends itself perfectly to functioning automotive applications where a combination of heat resistance and mechanical properties are required.
  • Outstanding Layer Adhesion - Most fiber reinforced materials show a decrease in z-axis layer adhesion when compared with their non-fiber reinforced Nylons, producing a part that is only stronger on the X-Y axis but detrimental to the Z axis. Polymakers new technology in Fiberon™ PA6-CF20 not only solves this problem but actually increases Z axis tensile strength creating more isotropic parts that are strong in every direction.
  • Warp-Free™ - Fiberon™ PA6-CF20 features Polymakers Warp-Free™ technology to deliver a reliable Nylon filament with excellent dimensional stability and near-zero warpage. This is achieved by the fine control of microstructure and crystallization behaviour of Nylon, which enables the material to fully release the internal stress before solidification. The Warp-Free™ technology in Fiberon™ PA6-CF20 is designed to work best with minimal bed temperatures.
  • Wear Resistant and Tough - Parts printed in Fiberon™ PA6-CF20 display excellent toughness and wear resistant properties.
  • Improved Printability – Unlike many other Nylon filaments, Fiberon™ PA6-CF20 is extremely easy to work with, exhibiting excellent dimensional stability. It is compatible with most filament-based 3D printers with no heated bed or chamber required!
  • Uncompromised Quality - Polymakers leading quality control process and rigorous in-house testing ensure reliable printing and consistency across spools and batches.

[1] Most Nylon parts in the real world undergo a process called "Moisture conditioning" which improves toughness and flexibility of the Nylon while reducing tensile strength and stiffness. Unless protected with a moisture barrier, PA6-CF shows a greater change in mechanical properties when subjected to water / high humidity in comparison to long-chain nylon filaments like PA12-CF or PA612-CF. In simple terms PA6-CF will typically offer the best properties in a dry application, but for a wet or high humidity application a longer chain nylon such as PA612 or PA12 may be better. See "Specifications & FAQ" tab to learn more about what moisture conditioning is, how it works and if it's relevant to your application.
[2] Fiberon™ PA6-CF20 displays the best mechanical and thermal properties when fully crystallized. The printed part will not reach full crystallization during the printing process, an additional step is required: Annealing. Fiberon™ PA6-CF20 can be annealed in the oven at 100˚C for 16 hours right after the printing process.

Technical Data

All PA6-CF20 specimens were printed with 300°C nozzle temperature, 50°C bed temperature, cooling fan OFF. Samples were printed with 100% infil, 2 shells and 3 top & bottom layers.

Nylon is a semi-crystalline material, it's crystalline regions offer many properties, but in particular their structure deliver the heat resistance that nylon is known for. Annealing after printing is a critical process to achieve consistent crystallinity and complete the production process of nylon parts.

Mechanicla Properties

Dry state represents when PA6-CF20 part is printed and annealed.
Wet state represents if the PA6-CF20 part were submerged in water for 48 hours.

If your part is exposed to reasonable humidity (70% RH) but isn't exposed to water, your part would become moisture conditioned. To enter the wet state would require very high humidity, steam or submersion.

Nylon 6 based materials are moisture sensitive and their mechanical properties change. As they absorb moisture the toughness and flexibility increase, while tensile strength and stiffness decrease. This process is not permanent, if the part were dried, it would regain strength and stiffness.

It works 100% as intended plus benefit of stand that changes with ease position of screen
Color: Black+Red, Size: Case for iPad (A16) 11th/10th Generation 11/10.9''
My tendency to knock over anything at least two inches high is a remarkable skill I’d rather not have but as long as I can claim said skill, I’m eternally grateful for this case for my iPad. Not only is it the only protective device that’s accomplished its intended use, it features a stand that is adjustable with ease to view your screen from any direction you prefer and can still access volume and off/on button. The leather strap to handle it with one hand also is a perfect solution to a typical problem. I’m accustomed to a cracked screen on iPhones and tablets or iPads but this iPad is the first I’ve ever had to go over six months and survive.

Cool Texture, Great Product, Notable Cons, Still Recommend
Model: Tab S11/S10 Lite/S10 FE/S9/S9 FE/S8/S7
AMAZING PRODUCT! I've never used a "paper-like" screen protector, but this one applied perfectly and was easy to use! (just follow the instructions!) no bubbles, just one single speck of dust (my own fault - sigh). It creates a very strong "matte" effect and feels cool to run your hand over (very paper-y) CONS: -The fit was SLIGHTLY big for my new S11 tablet, (each corner went RIGHT to the very corner of the tablet ALMOST going over the lip-this was just the corners of the protector and not the edges, which I found weird. IMO, its too close for my own comfort, but it still works none the less, and I've managed to use a case with it too with only minor corner lift). -The texture of the screen protector definitely distorts the pixels slightly, its just something to get used to, and probably something you'd have to see yourself, for if it would bug you or not. -It collects fingerprints like craaazy but they also wipe off craaazy easy too....sooo not fully an issue? just surprised me. Overall, for the money, I still recommend getting this protector if you're at all interested in a "paper-like" finish!

Great quality and easy to apply
Model: iPad A16 11th/10th/Air 11
I love these screen protectors. They feel amazing and they sent an installation kit making the applying process so easy. There was also a squeegee included to make sure air bubbles wouldn’t Be a problem. I’ve had zero problems with the protector reducing the touch sensitivity of the screen, the protectors fit well, seem durable, and are great quality. The price was also reasonable. I’ve never owned other paper-feel screen protectors so I’m not able to give a comparison, but for these being my first ones I am very pleased.

Good but Installation was a Bit Iffy
Model: iPad A16 11th/10th/Air 11
90% of the time I use my iPad for school. Originally, I used just a regular screen protector, but it would get dirty with smudges and imprints from my Apple Pencil, and there would be a lot of glare since I'm in a classroom most of the time, which would make it awkward to see what I was writing at times. Plus, the screen protector was too smooth so it would actually be difficult to write legibly. This product makes it a lot easier to write smoother on the iPad. I only just installed it, so I can't say much on the smear protection yet, but I can already see the reduction in glare as well. For $8, getting a pack of two of these with an install kit is a very nice deal imo. My only issue was the installation process, which could've been as much my own fault tbh, but I felt like I aligned the screen protector pretty well with the sticker, however the first time I tried installing it it was way off the center (maybe my case got in the way?). The biggest issue was using the squeegee to pop air bubbles, and this is something they don't mention in neither their instruction guide nor video, but you're supposed to used the velvet red side, not the naked white side: using the white side actually takes the grit off the protector, which is obviously something you don't want on a product that relies on it. Thankfully I have another one in reserve in case this one wears off sooner than expected.
