Feeding:®Primarily herbivorous, they feed on algae, sinking pellets, and occasional fresh vegetables like zucchini or cucumber. Supplement with protein-based foods occasionally.
Tank Mates:®They are compatible with most peaceful species such as tetras, guppies, and other non-aggressive fish. Avoid housing them with large, aggressive species.
Aggression:®Typically very peaceful, but males may exhibit mild territorial behavior toward other bottom-dwellers, especially during breeding.
Experience Level:®Suitable for beginners due to their hardy nature and easy care requirements.
