Het album werd oorspronkelijk uitgebracht in 2004 en bevat o.a. de nummers ‘Berlijn’, ‘Eeuwige Jeugd’ en ‘De Vondeling Van Ameland’. Op LP2 zijn de twee bonustracks ‘De Zwembadpas’ en ‘Het Einddoel’ plus het livealbum ‘Andere Tour, opgenomen in Koninklijk Theater Carré, in 2002 te horen.  ‘Het Eiland In De Verte’ is eerder enkel als onderdeel van een boxset op vinyl verschenen en het livealbum ‘Andere Tour’ is nog nooit op vinyl uitgebracht. De voor Rob de Nijs geschreven nummers ‘Als Je Niet Meer Verder Kunt’, ‘Leonardo’ en ‘Kater’ van het album staan bovendien ook niet op reguliere albums van Boudewijn.

 Deze jubileum uitgave bevat alle songteksten van ‘Het Eiland In De Verte’ en nieuwe liner notes van Boudewijn de Groot. Daarnaast is deze editie ook inclusief insert met de liner notes afkomstig van de originele release van beide albums. De 2LP klaphoes is gelimiteerd geperst op 180 grams wit vinyl.

Light commercial grade quality

This VERSARE hush screen portable divider appears to be well made and of light commercial grade quality. The lightweight aircraft aluminum frame and black fabric panel aren’t as heavy duty as the commercial grade steel panels of years past, but this panel certainly has adequate durability for home or office use. The sleek modern style is aesthetically pleasing, definitely appropriate for commercial applications, it doesn’t look cheap, or out of place. It’s freestanding and portable, with optional locking wheels, measuring 4’ wide X 6’ tall. The top panel is made of a clear fluted fiberglass, providing a window for natural light to filter through. I’m currently using it in my home office to partition of a separate workspace for my college student. It works very well for my purpose, I now have two relatively private workspaces in one office. It’s fairly easy to assemble, but the instructions could be more detailed and illustrative. One thing that I don’t like about it, is that the legs only slide in place, but they don’t bolt to the frame, allowing the legs to slide out of place when the panel is lifted up. The problem isn’t as magnified with the wheels installed, because the panel is then rolled, rather than lifted. It would be much easier to lift and move if the legs were bolted in place. But since I won’t be moving the divider very often, it’s not a deal breaker. Overall, I’m very pleased with the quality and look of this portable divider. At just under $555, it’s perhaps a tad bit overpriced, but still a reasonably good value. I recommend this VERSARE portable divider for home or office applications.
