De PURL-Y helm is speciaal ontworpen voor e-bikes en S-pedelecs, die snelheden tot 45 km/u kunnen bereiken. De helm voldoet aan de NTA 8876-norm, wat betekent dat hij geschikt is voor gebruik op deze snelle fietsen. De helm is gemaakt met het In-Mold-proces, waarbij de schokabsorberende binnenkant stevig verbonden is met de harde buitenkant.
