Wat is een isolatiebewaker?

In een woonhuis werkt persoonsveiligheid met een aardlekschakelaar (RCD) en een aardpin. Bij een omvormer/aggregaat ontstaat vaak een zwevend net. Dat vraagt om een andere aanpak.

Wat doet de ISG 230-25 precies?

  • Bewaakt continu de isolatieweerstand van het 230V-systeem.
  • Geeft een voorwaarschuwing bij afnemende isolatie (alarm 1).
  • Schakelt de uitgang af zodra de isolatieweerstand te laag wordt (alarm 2).

Volgens de handleiding vervangt de isolatiebewaker in een zwevend net de aardlekschakelaar, die daar niet toegepast kan/mag worden.

Dit product gaat over persoonsveiligheid bij 230V uit een omvormer/aggregaat. Laat installatie altijd uitvoeren door een gekwalificeerde technicus.

Wanneer heb je dit nodig in een camper?
  • Als je 230V opwekt met een omvormer of combi (bijv. Victron MultiPlus) en je de 230V ook “naar buiten” of naar meerdere stopcontacten voert.
  • Als je een zwevend 230V-net hebt en je persoonsveiligheid technisch goed wilt borgen.
  • Als je installatie zowel op walstroom als op omvormer werkt en je het netjes wilt scheiden.

Waarom juist de ISG 230-25 (25A)?

  • Geschikt voor zwaardere 230V-installaties tot 25A (max. ca. 5750W).
  • Volgens Xenteq is dit model ook geschikt voor combi-apparaten en systemen met voorrang/transfer (zoals omvormer/lader combinaties).
Aansluiten met Victron MultiPlus (combi omvormer/lader)

In een camper met MultiPlus heb je meestal 2 situaties: omvormerbedrijf (230V uit de accu) en walstroombedrijf. De ISG 230-25 is bedoeld om persoonsveiligheid te borgen bij een zwevend 230V-net (omvormerbedrijf zonder walstroom). Zodra walstroom actief is, wordt de meting uitgeschakeld via MAINS-detectie.

Belangrijke richtlijnen (praktisch)

  • Plaats de isolatiebewaker tussen de AC-out van de MultiPlus en jouw 230V-verdeling (automaten / stopcontactgroepen).
  • Sluit de isolatiebewaker bij voorkeur zo direct mogelijk op de MultiPlus aan (dus vóór overige randapparatuur).
  • Gebruik bij dit 25A-model 3-aderig 2,5 mm² netsnoer voor INVERTER en OUTPUT (volgens Xenteq richtlijn).
  • Leg een extra 2-aderige MAINS-detectiekabel (0,75–1,5 mm²) en verbind die met dezelfde walstroom-voeding als de MultiPlus (achter jouw aardlek/automaat na de CEE-invoer).

Walstroom aanwezig (ook met PowerAssist)

Wanneer walstroom aanwezig is, staat de ISG in “mains present”-modus en is de isolatiemeting uitgeschakeld. Dit geldt ook als de MultiPlus PowerAssist gebruikt (walstroom aanvullen met accuvermogen).

  • Persoonsbeveiliging loopt dan via de walstroom-aardlek (camping/paal) en jouw eigen walstroombeveiliging in de camper.
  • Zodra walstroom wegvalt, start de ISG weer met meten (na zelftest).

Belangrijk: N–PE koppeling in MultiPlus (voor correcte werking van de ISG)

De Victron MultiPlus verbindt standaard vaak nul en aarde (N–PE) wanneer de omvormer in bedrijf is en er geen walstroom aanwezig is. Voor correcte werking van de Xenteq ISG moet de 230V-uitgang in off-grid omvormerbedrijf juist een zwevend net vormen.

  • Schakel daarom in de MultiPlus-instellingen de functie uit die N–PE koppelt bij omvormerbedrijf zonder walstroom.
  • Daarna kun je off-grid controleren of het net “zwevend” is (indicatief meet je dan vaak ongeveer ~115Vac van L naar PE én van N naar PE).

Twijfel je over de instelling of de metingen? Neem even contact op; verkeerd instellen kan zorgen voor onverwacht gedrag in je 230V-netwerk.

Let op: bij walstroom actief moet de walstroominstallatie (paal + jouw camperinvoer) voorzien zijn van een goed werkende aardlekbeveiliging. De ISG is bedoeld voor persoonsveiligheid bij het zwevende net in omvormerbedrijf (zonder walstroom).

Montage & installatie (kort en praktisch)
  • Alleen door gekwalificeerde technici; en er mag maar één isolatiebewaker per netstelsel worden aangesloten.
  • Monteer zo dicht mogelijk bij de omvormer/combi en houd de kabel tussen omvormer en ISG zo kort mogelijk.
  • Bevestig op een vlakke, stabiele ondergrond en voorkom trillen/schokken.
  • IP66-behuizing: bestand tegen stof en water, maar monteer altijd netjes en zonder mechanische spanning op de kabelwartels.

Test: is jouw 230V-uitgang “zwevend”?

Volgens de handleiding controleer je dit met een multimeter door te meten van L naar aarde en N naar aarde. Bij een zwevend net meet je op beide ongeveer 115 Vac (indicatief). Als dat niet klopt, moet de bron mogelijk worden aangepast (bijv. geen vaste verbinding tussen N en aarde).

Overbelasting voorkomen

Xenteq adviseert om ter bescherming tegen overbelasting een zekering op de uitgang te plaatsen, passend bij het maximale vermogen van het model.

Zekeringwaarde en uitvoering hangen af van jouw 230V-verdeelnet (automatenkast, kabeldiktes, stopcontactgroepen). Wij helpen je daar graag mee.

Werking, LED-status en testen

Na het inschakelen doorloopt de ISG eerst een zelftest. Daarna wordt de uitgang pas doorgeschakeld. Houd rekening met een vertraging van ongeveer 10 seconden.

Alarmniveaus

  • Alarm 1 (voorwaarschuwing): bij 46 kΩ (LED rood knipperen). Controleer het systeem op fouten.
  • Alarm 2 (uitschakelen): bij 23 kΩ (LED rood). Uitgang wordt afgeschakeld.

Maandelijkse zelftest (aanbevolen)

  • Druk op Test → de ISG creëert een lek en schakelt uit.
  • Druk daarna op Reset → opnieuw zelftest, daarna weer actief als alles OK is.

De ISG kan automatisch resetten bij opnieuw inschakelen van de stroombron, of handmatig via de reset-knop.

I own several articles of Carhartt clothing, most of which i got from a thrift store; it has been said that Carhartt meant quality--and quality meant high prices. When a Carhartt item became available through the Vine program, I was surprised, and decided that I would use this opportunity to pick up what I thought was going to be a good quality wallet. Nope. For what they ask for their stuff, you would assume that it was made with high quality materials and in the united states. this wallet misses the mark on both of those points. it is clearly stated on both the packaging and inside the wallet itself that it is made in india. the leather is thin and and may be so to effect the rapid aging and forming of the wallet around its contents, but it only has 3 card slots and a mesh-windowed ID card slot, so that seems like a stretch of an excuse. More likely, Carhartt cheaped out on materials. the stitching looks like it is made with plasticky thread , which may not hold up very long. but it IS embossed with the Carhartt logo, which is all some people need.

This Mens Full Grain Patina Leather Wallet has a rough, durable and rustic style with basic functionality and capacity as well as slim profile as in my pictures. I put about 10 dollar bills and a couple of my cards in this bifold wallet in my pictures. (You can put 3 cards in the card pockets on the right and 1 in the mesh pocket on the left.) It has a hard relatively smooth outer surface and a coarse surface on the other side. Over time of use, I would expect the leather to become tenderer. Simple, Rugged Wallet with Classic Carhartt Style

Compared to g-shock?

Firstly random public reviews can be comical…”it’s has a battery, terrible, One star” or “I don’t like yellow, one star” omg peoples do better. I’ll review this while comparing to an older style of g-shock from the same era. I’ll start by saying this timex rocks, for me in my mid 50’s it’s so retro and nastalgic, brings back memories, I may have even owned this model back in the day. What’s great about it- the display, larger digits than the typical g-shock and they are super crisp, clear and easy to read. The indiglo is awesome. This is the most accurate quartz watch I have aside from the atomic g-shocks that adjust themselves daily. I prefer a chunky watch and the g-shocks do a better job in that department. i feel this watch is rugged, but I’d still give the nod to g-shock in this department. 200M water resistance is the gold standard and this watch has it which I love for peace of mind for any water based activities. This is a 5 star watch at a great price. I still love some aspects of a g-shock better but its just preference.

Everybody loved the high-tech style and amazing functionality

I'm not a Timex fanboy, and I've had my fair share of problems with the Expedition line, so this review is my honest opinion as a man who's worn Armitrons and Timexes since I was 10. I remember in 1992 when the Timex Ironman Triathlon with Indiglo was first launched - My older brother got one, then me and my neighbor friends. Everybody loved the high-tech style and amazing functionality. Even Bill Clinton was rock'n this watch, for those who don't remember. Quite simply, this is the perfect watch at a great price, in my opinion. Perfect as a gift for any man, and I think the original black/olive drab/yellow coloration is still the coolest. In this day and age of smartphones, it still pays to have this watch. The alarm is less annoying sounding than a cellphone, and doesn't wake up the entire house. To turn it off, just tap the watch, no more reaching for the phone or alarm clock. Timer comes in handy for anything; timing my kids' timeouts when they get in trouble, 15 minutes room clean-up times, etc. Chrono is fun for anything you wanna use a stop-watch for. I set the second time zone for Vietnam time. It really is a million times easier to use this watch for all of its functions than reaching for a smartphone or alarm clock, etc. If you;ve been relying on your phone for a few years as a watch/chronograph/timer/alarm - you'll be so glad you finally got a watch like this. I've never tried a smart-watch, however I feel those are not as necessary,durable or practical as a real watch. Other Timex watches I've used were freakin' trash - couldn't throw em away fast enough. Might as well open the box while holding it over a trash can, so the watch can fall right in when you open the box. That's my experience with the Expedition line-up. Back to this watch: The only thing I wish this watch could do is measure activity thermogenesis (calories expended throught the day) or work as a pedometer, which some smart-watches and other devices can do. I also cannott decide if I like this new, slightly larger, heavier/thicker design of the Ironman Triathlon over the 1990s design. The 90s models styling was "tight to death'. Star-split buttons were seperated. The mode button was yellow. Overall more compact and bi-cultural;by that I mean it looked great as an athletic watch or a politician, business man wathc. This new model is bigger, better ingress/shock resistance, and more of an athletic style over all, and is a little less colorful. I almost went with the G-shocks, but they still just look like crap and are waay to expensive. Sure, they have some better features, can survive WWIII, but I am a traveler. I need a watch that can work in the dark in any environment. The G-shocks are often using some kind of solar battery crap and rely on cathing a signal from an American automic clock in Colorado - good luck with that while your in Thailand on vacation.
