General notes about this release (please note: our version may differ a little. see the comments above):
This could be pre-ordered through Universal Germany by the end of October 2019, when the album had not a name and artwork yet, as "ltd. vinyl edition (german version)". In an e-mail in march 2020, they announced the title, as well as it would include a "silver 12" vinyl with regular track listing", a "black standard 7" vinyl incl. bonus audio" and an "alternate sleeve". Actually, this is a black vinyl LP, including a one -sided red 7" with a slipcover around the gatefold with a 16 page booklet. On 8th february 2021, Universal Germany announced in an e-mail to all buyers that "in the coming weeks we will provide you with a free of charge copy of the Silver Vinyl. We cannot confirm an exact date, but plan to do ship this to you in the first 2 weeks of March" (sic). The repressed silver vinyl edition that was sent around march 10, 2021 can be found here: [r17791408 The bonus audio on the 7" single is a "previously unreleased Steven Wilson demo recorded March 2006 during 'Fear Of Blank Planet' writing sessions. Remixed in August 2020"

You know a blanket’s soft when my dog immediately tries to appropriate it. This is incredibly soft, and actually pretty light; it makes for a good spring or summer blanket, or a throw in addition to something else in colder weather. (The twin is big enough that you can double it up over yourself to make it thicker in colder months.) I’m not sure while it’s called a “bubble” blanket - there is a very gentle egg crate shape to it, but it’s not rigid at all, and not dual-layer or filled with air or anything. It’s a very comfy throw (my dog can also attest to that) and for ~$20 (at the time of this review), it’s a great deal. I haven’t noticed any shedding, either, but I’m going to wash it on as gentle a cycle I can, to be safe.
