Met deze winterdrijver set beschikt u over 24 winterdrijvers, geschikt voor een zwembad met een maximale lengte van 12 meter. Wanneer het water bevriest, gaat het uitzetten. De winterdrijvers zorgen ervoor dat deze druk wordt opgevangen. Hierdoor kunnen er geen beschadigingen aan het zwembad optreden. De winterdrijvers worden diagonaal in het zwembad geplaatst. Door de meegeleverde haken, kunnen ze als een ketting aan elkaar gemaakt worden. Een winterdrijver heeft een afmeting van 50 x 25 x 5 cm.

Het precieze aantal berekenen?

Het precieze aantal winterdrijvers is eenvoudig zelf te berekenen door middel van de stelling van Pythagoras. Hieronder een stappenplan voor het berekenen. Dit stappenplan is gebaseerd op een zwembad van 8 x 4 meter.

Stap 1: vermenigvuldig de lengte van uw zwembad met hetzelfde getal (bijvoorbeeld: 8 meter x 8 = 64)

Stap 2: vermenigvuldig de breedte van uw zwembad met hetzelfde getal (bijvoorbeeld: 4 meter x 4 = 16)

Stap 3: tel beide uitkomsten bij elkaar op. 64 + 16 = 80

Stap 4: trek de wortel uit 80. In dit geval is dat afgerond 9.

De diagonale doorsnede van het zwembad is 9 meter. Een winterdrijver heeft een lengte van 50 cm. Deel 9 meter (900 cm) door 50 cm. Voor het zwembad in dit voorbeeld zijn 18 winterdrijvers nodig.
