Bloei, bloeitijd, blad en winterhardheid van de Eikenbladhortensia - Hydrangea quercifolia 'Snowflake'

Deze pluimvormende heester is dubbelbloemig en bloeit gedurende de maanden juli en augustus. De bloemen zijn wit en verkleuren naar een roze / rode kleur. De bloempluimen kunnen zo'n 30 cm groot worden. De bladeren lijken qua vorm op die van het eikenblad. Vanaf het einde van de zomer verkleuren deze naar (donker) rood. De Eikenbladhortensia - Hydrangea quercifolia 'Snowflake' is goed winterhard. Temperaturen tot -20 graden zijn geen probleem.
