Voor een ''smooth'' ervaring van je mechanische toetsenbord, is GPL 105 een uitstekende keuze. De GPL 105 lube is speciaal gemaakt om je switches te smeren, zorg hiervoor wel dat de switches los te halen zijn. Bij een Hot-Swappable toetsenbord kun je de switches gewoon verwijderen met een switchpuller. Is je toetsenbord niet Hot-Swappable, dan moet je je switches desolderen. Dit raden we echter niet aan.

GPL 105 wordt vooral gebruikt voor switch springs (de vering), lineaire switches en tactile switches.

GPL 105 lube vertoont geweldig thermische stabiliteit waar traditionele smeermiddelen soms afbreken en falen. 

Less is more. Gebruik niet te veel lube, als je te veel gebruikt dan gaan je switches sponzig aanvoelen. Een heel klein tipje van de lube op de 'stem' van de switch en over de glijdende delen van de behuizing is meer dan voldoende. Door zuinig te zijn met je lube, zorg je ervoor dat je in totaal meer switches kan luben.

Tips:

  • Sluit het flesje na gebruik goed af om te voorkomen dat er stof en andere troep in terechtkomt.
  • Niet mengen met ander vet.
  • Gebruik een stem-holder voor het aanbrengen van de lube.
  • Gebruik medische handschoenen om te voorkomen dat je handen te vet worden.
  • Mocht je geen handschoenen hebben, dan is de lube ook makkelijk te verwijderen met wat handzeep en water.
