Dit ontwerp eert de tijdloze elegantie van het Art Deco-tijdperk.De Art Deco-periode duurde van ongeveer 1915 tot 1935 en is vernoemd naar een expositie in Parijs in 1925 die de nieuwe, chique geometrische stijl vierde die ontstond na de Eerste Wereldoorlog. Een vrijer stijl werd gevierd en vrouwen die de flapper levensstijl omarmden, weigerden terug te keren naar maatschappelijke beperkingen. In plaats daarvan kozen ze voor bevrijdende stijl en zelfexpressie met exuberante sieraden en lossere kleding.
Glinsterende juwelen waren een verademing na de bezuinigingen tijdens de Eerste Wereldoorlog. Deze oorbellen zijn eigentijds, maar trouw gemaakt in de Art Deco-stijl.
