Over 'Vastbenoemd'

Volg je dromen! Dat advies kreeg Jasper van zijn ouders mee. En de droom, dat was stand-up comedian worden. Op de planken staan en mensen laten lachen. Als programmator van een cultuurcentrum zag hij van op de eerste rij zijn voorbeelden het podium bestormen. En toen waagde ook hij de sprong. Zijn start was veelbelovend: hij deed de voorprogramma’s voor Alex Agnew, Wouter Deprez, Bas Birker, Philippe Geubels en Michael Van Peel. Hij stond in de finale van Humo’s Comedy Cup en won meteen de Lunatic Comedy Award.

De droom ging werkelijkheid worden. Vol vertrouwen zegde Jasper begin 2020 zijn vaste benoeming op, want tenslotte: wat was het ergste dat er kon gebeuren? Twee weken later begon de eerste lockdown en werden alle optredens uit de agenda geschrapt.

Intussen zijn de theaters terug open en is het tijd om uit het zwarte gat te klimmen. Zekerheid is er nog steeds niet, enkel een microfoon en een avond goeie comedy. Over hardwerkende ambtenaren, over Japanse toiletten en gênante woorden bij Scrabble. Kom kijken. Help de droom mee waarmaken.
