Op boten en in voertuigen wordt steeds meer elektrische apparatuur geplaatst. De standaard voedingsspanning van de meeste apparatuur is 12 Volt terwijl de boordspanning vaak 24 Volt is. De oplossing is een DC/DC omvormer. De Orion omvormer maakt het mogelijk om vanuit een 24 Volt boordnet een 12 Volt accu te laden.
