In 1936 werd wijnbouwcoöperatie Haltinger opgericht en is te vinden in Haltingen, een district in Weil am Rhein in de driehoek van Duitsland, Zwitserland en Frankrijk. Tientallen wijnbouwers werken samen in de 50 hectare wijngaarden in onder meer Schlipf en Haltinger Stiege. De focus ligt op Gutedel met 45 procent van de wijngaarden, Pinot Noir neemt 30 procent in beslag. Verder worden er Riesling, witte Bourgogne rassen, Sauvignon Blanc en Gewürztraminer geteeld. De wijnen kenmerken zich door veel fruit en een mineraal karakter. De terroir is kalkrijk en van zeer hoge kwaliteit. De Grauburgunder druiven zijn afkomstig van percelen op het zuidwesten van de heuvel. De bodem bestaat uit kalk mergelgrond met lösslaag. Dit zorgt er mede voor dat de druifsoort bijzonder eigenschappen kan ontwikkelen. De druiven worden volledig met de hand geoogst, zodat alleen de beste druiven worden geselecteerd voor de uiteindelijke wijn. In de wijnmakerij volgt een koude maceratie van 12 uur. De fermentatie vindt plaats bij een gecontroleerde temperatuur van 17 graden. De wijn krijgt vervolgens de nodige rust alvorens deze wordt gebotteld.Geniet van het uitgesproken karakter van de Grauburgunder Reserve
De Grauburgunder, de Duitse benaming voor Pinot Gris, kleurt bleekgeel in het glas en verwelkomt je met de aroma’s van peer, honing en meloen. De smaak is lekker zacht en vormt een mooie combinatie met de fijne zuren. Dankzij het uitgesproken karakter is deze Grauburgunder Reserva makkelijk te combineren met veel gerechten. Came with low ink!

Will edit! - currently just opened the machine to get it set up and the machine says ink is low, all ink is low. When I used the Amazon trouble shoot chat all it did was say sorry and gave me a link to return. I just want this machine to work with there to be ink! It’s not like this was cheap, the ink that comes with should work and not be empty.

Works Beautifully

I looked up videos on YouTube to get tips on using this as I'm a visual learner. I love using my Cricut and making tumblers, and as someone familiar with crafting, it felt second nature using this. Everything worked smoothly and nothing seemed out of place. There’s a bit of a learning curve, but if you're crafty, you'll settle in quickly. The print quality is fantastic, easily higher quality than my inkjet printer. The included “starter ink” gets you going, and replacements are easy to get online. You use the ink they provide which lasts a long time. The results speak for themselves, sharp, vivid, and professional looking prints every time. Definite recommend from me!

Way too expensive, but good quality. Monopolies do that.
Model: 500N BNDL
Makes great prints but is twice the cost of what it should be and the ink is ridiculously expensive. The "starter ink" that is included will prime the lines, but will immediately show you a "low ink" warning. So be prepared to almost immediately spend another $350 on ink. If you use unauthorized ink Sawgrass will lock up your printer and make it unusable. That monopoly is how they can charge so much. Cost is the downside by a longshot. Also - having to use their "Print Manager" slows down production by adding several extra steps after pressing print. Making our shop less efficient. That being said - the quality of the prints we get with Sawgrass is superior to other printers for sublimation.

Changed for the worse
Model: 500N BNDL
I have used my sawgrass SG500’s and an SG1000 for over 10 years with great success and made around 250,000 mugs and ornaments. As you can see, all the 1 star reviews are from this year for good reason. I wish I had read them before I bought a new 500 model. All my prints are now grainy. I have spent days online and it is normal with the new Print Utility and it seems to be the same for everyone in the last few months. I have been unable to find a fix and customer service is useless. It takes days of chat and emails to have what would be a 15 minute conversation. I don’t want to go through the hassle of learning a new system but unless I can get my issues solved in the next few days, I will.
The actual printing is faster but it takes several minutes per print to set up. I have to spend about 4-5 times as long to set up a print as I did with the old Print Manager. Instead of spending a half hour to print my art each day, I have to spend at least 2 hours and I get a lower quality print. Unless they can get me set up to use Print Manager again instead of the new Print Utility, I’m getting a different printer.

Not enough ink

Printer is good quality but barely has enough ink to fill lines. With a printer of this cost you would think you would get a full tank of ink. Especially since replacement ink is over 300 dollars
