Tijdens het tampen rust het externe deel op het filtermandje terwijl het interne deel met een constante kracht van 13.5kg naar beneden wordt gedrukt. Zo druk je de koffie altijd recht aan met dezelfde kracht. Het resultaat is een consistente espresso puck in een handomdraai.
